Cleaning Supervisor

Job Description:

Mountain Family Cleaning Ltd. is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to coordinate and oversee daily cleaning operations. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality cleaning standards, supervise staff, and support smooth workflow across client sites.

Work Location: Bow Valley

Wage: $36.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time (30-44 hours per week, depending on the season)

Start Date: as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff

• Inspect sites to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met

• Prepare work schedules and assign duties

• Train new workers in cleaning procedures and equipment use

• Order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory

• Assist in hiring and performance evaluation of staff

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Perform cleaning duties as required

Requirements:

• Completed high school or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cleaning or janitorial services, including at least minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. Experience in hotel and short-term vacation rental cleaning is an asset.

• Valid driver’s license is required

• Ability to communicate in English

• Ability to lead a team of 5-10 people and manage multiple tasks, great communication stills, and team player

• Knowledge of safe work practices and cleaning procedures

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, on call if needed
