Principal Engineer I - Full Stack Developer

Role Overview:

This is a senior-level engineering role focused on building and enhancing Digital Account Onboarding (DAO) solutions, specifically leveraging Temenos frameworks. The position combines hands-on development, solution design, and leadership responsibilities within a regulated financial environment.

Core Responsibilities:

o Enhance and integrate features on the Digital Account Onboarding platform (Temenos).

o Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations for banking workflows.

o Provide timely resolution for incidents and ensure system stability.

o Communicate fixes and updates to stakeholders.

o Design scalable, secure solutions that meet regulatory and business requirements.

o Define technical standards and best practices.

o Lead technical discussions and guide junior engineers.

o Ensure high-quality code reviews and adherence to development standards.

o Embed regulatory compliance and governance into all development activities.

o Maintain audit-ready documentation for processes and code changes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years full-stack development experience:

• Strong in Java, Groovy, Mistro, and RESTful API integration.

• Expertise in financial services/banking systems.

• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.

• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in banking technology.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Hands-on work with Temenos frameworks or similar DAO platforms.

• Exposure to digital banking transformation projects.
