.NET / C# Full Stack Developer

Job Title: .NET / C# Full Stack Developer

Location: NYC, NY (hybrid - 3 days/week) (Need Locals to NY)

Duration: 6+ Months

Project description

You will join the team behind an internal AI platform for processing and interacting with unstructured data. The team is currently over 30 people strong and is organized into agile teams, each of which is self-sufficient and handles the creation of features from the idea stage, through analysis, implementation, testing, production deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and responsive web applications using .NET Core (C#) and React.js

Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components

Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Optimize performance and troubleshoot application and database issues

Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines where appropriate

Skills Must have

ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve L3 incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues understand, represent, and advocate for client needs

share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Experience with the following technologies:

Java and Spring (Container, MVC, JDBC, Boot)

Cloud technologies (Azure, AKS, Functions)

Container technologies (Docker)

Data streaming architecture (Kafka) or messaging (ASB, Tibco)

Relational databases (Oracle, Postgres)

Client-side web technologies (JavaScript, React JS, JSON, HTML, CSS)

Financial Data Processing, experience handling risk, compliance, and regulatory data in an investment banking environment.
