Essential Duties

Reviews functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

Identifies the risks that will impact the overall testing for the Project

Formulates test requirements from specifications and create test strategy, test plan, and generation of test data for a project.

Allocates tasks to the QA Analyst or a tester.

Reviews test cases with the QA Analyst and other members of the Sprint team.

Summarizes the testing completed.

Tests Reports and validate the data hydration in the SQL data warehouse.

Be well versed with Integration testing and use of tools such as Visual Cron for running jobs and Postman for API testing.

Decides how it will be carried out and to what extent it will be automated for Operational readiness.

Executes manual and automated test cases and report test results.

Plans and executes Capacity, Volume / Load, and Stress testing.

Identifies any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.

Ensures that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

Isolates, replicates, and reports defects and verify defect fixes. Work Environment

Knowledge of Agile methodology within DevOps from Epic to Test Plan, Test Suite, Test Case.

Knowledge of SQL and other database design tools.

Skill to use and compose clear, comprehensive, and accurate verbal and written communication and reports.

Skill to use UltiPro, Netwise, Darwin, iSynergy, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Cognos.

Skill to use VisualCron to perform Integration Testing.

Skill to support testing on multiple projects.

Skill to be organized, give attention to detail, and exercise follow up.

Skill to research and analyze data and prepare recommendations.

Skill to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.

Ability to consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position. Minimum Requirements

BS or BA degree preferred.

3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.

3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.

Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers, and replication.

Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases. Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications. Liaison with development, project management, and customer support

Strong knowledge of software platforms, business systems and database design practices.

Experience using QA/BA tools to include, MS Office suite, MS Project, database query language, time tracking tools, Use Case/UML, QA for test case development, execution, and defect tracking/issue tracking software.

Worked in an Agile Project Management Environment (Scrum)

Possess core business competencies such as finance, management, accounting, operations, and marketing.

Detailed awareness of the business context of a technical solution, including specific business goals associated with the project, how the project will meet goals and their own part in advancing goals.

PEO industry knowledge, payroll processing and/or employee benefits experience, a plus
