Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Salary: $65 - 66 per hour

Work hours: 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.

Minimum 8+ years related technology experience, financial industry experience a plus.

Expertise with building and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or other data pipeline processes to move and integrate data from various sources into Oracle database.

Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL experience with specific database management systems (like Oracle, PostgreSQL), physical data modeling, and performance optimization techniques.

Strong RDBMS skills - SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.

Proficient with performing applications database (Oracle) services including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, database application design, development support & engineering.

Deep proficiency with writing database code such as stored procedures, triggers, views, and complex queries to support application logic and ensure data integrity.

Experience with analyzing data and user requirements to design effective solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cloud database services like Amazon RDS.

Demonstrated expertise with critical thinking and decision?making skills. Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools.
