TechFlow Inc. is seeking an experienced Front End Web and Mobile Developer to join our Platform Services Division in support of a large government contract. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to build a cutting-edge Data Analytics platform with both web and mobile interfaces that support industrial asset maintenance operations. You'll create intuitive, responsive applications that transform complex maintenance and asset data from CMMS and other enterprise systems into actionable insights accessible across web browsers and mobile devices for government stakeholders in the field and office.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive web applications and native mobile applications for a Data Analytics platform focused on industrial asset maintenance.

Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations for both web and mobile platforms that display asset performance, maintenance metrics, and operational insights.

Develop cross-platform mobile applications that enable field technicians and maintenance personnel to access real-time asset data.

Collaborate with backend developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Integrate front-end and mobile applications with RESTful APIs and data services from CMMS and other enterprise systems.

Develop reusable component libraries and maintain code quality standards across web and mobile codebases.

Implement responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches to ensure optimal user experience across all devices.

Optimize application performance for both web and mobile platforms, including load times, rendering efficiency, and offline capabilities.

Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development processes.

Create and maintain technical documentation for front-end and mobile architecture and components.

Perform testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility, cross-platform functionality, and mobile device compatibility.

Implement mobile-specific features such as push notifications, offline data sync, and device hardware integration.

Stay current with emerging web and mobile development technologies and best practices.

Ensure applications meet government security standards and accessibility requirements (Section 508/WCAG). Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

4+ years of professional front-end web and/or mobile development experience

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience building data-driven applications with complex user interfaces for web and/or mobile platforms

Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles

Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs

Knowledge of mobile application development lifecycle and deployment processes

Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Knowledge of web and mobile performance optimization techniques

Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues and solutions

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React.js and modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, Redux, etc.)

Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development

Experience deploying applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store

Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, Victory Native, or similar

Knowledge of TypeScript

Experience with mobile-specific features (push notifications, geolocation, camera integration, offline storage)

Familiarity with native mobile development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin) as a plus

Experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Metro, Vite, etc.)

Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) or CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components)

Experience with UI component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, React Native Paper, NativeBase, etc.)

Understanding of state management patterns and libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand, etc.)

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.)

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)

Experience working with CMMS, ERP, or industrial asset management systems

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience supporting government contracts or working in regulated environments

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Fastlane, CodePush, etc.)

Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for both web and mobile platforms

Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) #techflow
