Job Summary

The Chief Architect plays a crucial role in leading the architectural strategy for all clinical and utilization management applications. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance from Tuesday to Thursday, with a focus on design, development, implementation, and optimization of complex architectural solutions. The ideal candidate will possess expertise across application, solution, information, technology, and business domains to meet diverse business needs.

In this strategic role, you will establish the technical product vision and architectural roadmap for initiatives including data integration, cloud migration, and AI integration. Effective communication of technical trade-offs, stakeholder concerns, and architectural integrity will be paramount. Additionally, you will lead the formulation of enterprise and solution architectures while overseeing migration strategies and advanced AI/ML integrations.

As a Chief Architect, you will guide detailed architectural and technical requirements, performing thorough impact analyses regarding regulatory, operational, and financial implications of proposed changes. Collaboration with product owners to define technical epics and stories is critical, as is serving as the primary technical contact for senior business stakeholders.

Your role will continuously leverage in-depth business and technology knowledge to enhance processes and systems, with a focus on driving innovation through emerging technologies in data integration, cloud computing, and AI. Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members will be key to fostering technical excellence within the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide strategic consultation to define and design organizational processes and technology solutions.

Lead specification and design of complex systems and ensure best practices are followed.

Utilize advanced tools to clarify and communicate user requirements and system functionalities.

Manage significant process improvement initiatives, ensuring quality and business benefits are realized.

Resolve architecture challenges and lead complex project initiatives efficiently.

Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Oversee customer and partner expectations to align with overall goals.

Participate in design walkthroughs and collaborate with various departments on requirements.

Maintain expertise in technical areas and provide valuable insights for implementation.

Lead and mentor peers and junior staff, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.

Education

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.

Preferred

Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience

Required

7 years of experience in IT.

7 years of experience in a Business discipline.

Preferred

Technical architecture experience in large, multi-domain projects.

Licenses and Certifications

Required

None.

Preferred

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Java Developer, DB2, Cognos, PEGA, Enterprise Architect(SCEA), Project Management).

Work Environment

Note that this role ishybrid and requires travel as needed.

Compliance Requirement: This position requires adherence to ethical and legal standards regarding confidential information, including compliance with HIPAA and company data security policies. All employees must follow the company's Code of Business Conduct.

Pay Range:

Minimum: $92,300.00

Maximum: $172,500.00

The displayed salary range is influenced by several factors, including qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
