Responsibilities: * Breakout: The operator must read technical schematics and strip the cable to the required length.
* Prep: The operator must strip the end of the breakout, apply numbered labels, and rubber boots.
* Cleaving: The operator must cleave the very tip of the fiber using a specialized scope.
* Polishing: The operator must follow a preset polishing recipe, use proper sanding pads, and ensure no dirt or spots are visible.
* Testing: The operator is required to test all connectors and ensure they meet testing requirements.

Required Experience: * Must have a high school diploma or GED.
* Ability to showcase a positive attitude.
* Willing to learn and be part of a team environment.
Preferred Experience: * Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read, write and understand English.
* Familiarity with fiber optics systems and components.
* Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
* Proficiency in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optics systems.
* Knowledge of optical fiber testing and measuring equipment.
