Lead developer (Python, Golang, Node.js)

Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extention)

1. Lead Developer

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor distributed engineering teams working in a federated platform environment.

Drive delivery in an Agile/Scrum model, supporting sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications on AWS.

Architect and develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions. Required Skills

8-10+ years of progressive software development experience, including team leadership.

Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, Lambda, API development.

Strong programming expertise in Golang, Python, Node.js (knowledge of Angular/Vue or Java is a plus).

DevOps tooling exposure: New Relic, Git, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, PagerDuty etc.

Experience within the financial domain dealing with loans, credit, interest, or related financial instruments.

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
