Overview Part of the manufacturing team, you are the driving force behind the creation of our kitchen and bath products.

You will work hands-on with the products themselves, from the handling of raw materials to the shipping of a completed piece.

You are responsible for ensuring that all products are properly assembled and manufactured to bring customers a consistently strong experience.

Knowledgeand attention to all safety protocols is an essential part of keeping our manufacturing operations safe and efficient.

Determine whether finished products are of a specified quality and attempt to determine the causes of product defects that may be found.

You will develop methods for reducing their occurrences.

Quality Control specialist inspects and test products.

They evaluate the data and prepare summaries to show how the product might differ from existing standards of quality and reliability.

You may suggest changes in how products are made to achieve the best quality possible.

You may also recommend methods to minimize the amount of quality defects.

You are responsible for the documentation of test results and forwarding on communications with the suppliers and manufacturing companies.

* Establish and maintain a filing system for all projects, audits, and customer complaints with solutions.

* Assist Distribution Manager on reducing damage loss through Quality Control measures.

* Coordinate and execute re-work project, random & targeted product audits, and corrective actions on sub-standard products.

* Perform all test and procedures to the QC.

400 Inspection Manual.

* Establish training and directing workers on special projects.

* Communicate with Quality, Customer Care and our Consumer Connections Teams daily to focus on Current areas of product concerns.

Responsibilities The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of the products and services.

The QCS is required to verify all such work, indentify non-compliance issues, service customer needs, help to resolve these in a cost effective and timely fashion with integrity and trust implied by the American Standard Brands program.

QCS is responsible for the efficient and effective performances of testing in conformance with the QC 400 regulations and standards.

The QCS will report to the DC's Quality Supervisor.

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency.

Chinaware, and faucet knowledge preferred but not required.

You must be able to lift 65 lbs on a regular basis.

This is on onsite position Mon-Fri, 7 am-3:30 pm.

Hiring Range The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $52,000.00-$66,000.00 annually.
