American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active RST or BRPT certification for a night shift contract assignment.
Job Details
• Work in a hospital respiratory/neuro diagnostics department on the Polysomnography team,
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, Thursday through Saturday, from 17:00 to 06:00,
• Initial 1-2 weeks of training scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday,
• Patient population includes pediatric sleep study cases,
• Floating to Lewis Center location is required,
• Must work two winter holidays as part of the assignment,
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years polysomnography or sleep technologist experience,
• Active Respiratory Therapist License or Certification required; license required if applicable,
• RST (Registered Sleep Technologist) or BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) credential required,
• Ability to float to multiple units as assigned,
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility,
Additional Information
• Duties include monitoring pediatric sleep studies, administering and scoring polysomnography tests, and supporting patient safety and comfort during overnight studies,
• Team features a multidisciplinary pediatric care environment,
• Returning travelers must not have worked at the facility in a permanent role in the past 2 years,
• Must be able to work assigned holidays,
• Strict attendance and lateness policies are in place,
