Department: Operations

Direct Report To: Executive Director

About The Role:

The Quality & Performance Improvement Coordinator (QAPI) is a vital member of the team who is responsible for monitoring and improving quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care.

Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director, the Quality & Performance Improvement Coordinator will ensure quality of patient care in accordance with State, Federal, CIHQ, and Joint Commission regulations.

Job Qualifications

Four-year bachelor's degree in human services or nursing required, master's degree in behavioral health, risk discipline, or nursing preferred.

Three or more years of Quality or PIrequiredin residential or behavioral healthsettings.

Knowledge and experience with accreditation bodies- Joint Commission and CIHQ.

Computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and Power Point required.

Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, provide patient-driven customer service, and exercise self-motivated time management skills.

Completion of CPR and CPI within first 30 days of employment.

Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients and staff

Schedule flexibility may be REQUIRED to accommodate client admissions.

Must hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities

Develop processes for identification, collection, and analysis of performance measurement data.

Utilize collected data regarding the outcome of activities for delivering continuously improving services.

Develop written plans to improve and/or correct quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care.

Conducts routine evaluations of the effectiveness of services.

Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures for the identification, collection, and analysis of performance measurement data and related information.

Determine if services meet pre-determined quality improvement expectations and outcomes and ensure correction of any observed deficiencies identified through the quality improvement process

Facilitates performance management.

Conduct timely and regular evaluation of serious incidents, complaints, grievances, and related investigations.

Upholds familiarity with State and Federal laws and regulations.

Pay Rate: $20 -$25 hourly
