SALARY: $23.42 - $25.63 per hour

LOCATION: West Fargo, ND

INTERVIEWS:

Interviews will begin immediately. If selected for an interview, you will be contacted to set up a time for an interview.

Intern selection will begin the beginning of November 2025.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

High School Diploma and completion of one year of a formal education in Surveying, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction curriculum; or

One-year surveying or highway construction experience may be substituted.

DESIRED/PREFERRED:

One year completed of a 4 year Civil Engineering or Construction Management Curriculum; or

One year completed of a 2 year Surveying or Construction Tech Curriculum and familiarity with construction testing procedures.

DUTIES:

Receiving and verifying material quantities as construction materials are delivered to the construction site

Performing construction material inspection

Sampling and performing engineering tests of asphalt and aggregates

Performing field office administrative activities including checking haul tickets, haul reports and contractor payrolls

Perform field measurements, calculations, and documentation necessary to verify pay quantities

Work as general crew member by setting location stakes, elevation stakes, and GPS surveying

Minor project management on smaller projects
