Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $60-75k + full benefits and OT
Requirement: 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical component assembly. FARO, metrology, Polyworks experience preferred-
Position Overview
We are a growing robotics organization paving the way for AI driven hardware and manufacturing solutions. Due to continued growth we are now seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, fabrication, and testing of hardware systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through hands-on technical work and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fabricate hardware components according to specifications.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of hardware systems to identify and resolve issues.
Collaborate with design engineers to optimize hardware designs for manufacturability and performance.
Maintain accurate records of testing and fabrication processes.
Support the development of new hardware prototypes and assist in the iterative design process.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of machine shop equipment and tools.
Qualifications
Proven experience in machine shop environment, fabrication and assembly.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with robotics and automation technologies.
Experience in troubleshooting complex hardware systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Associates or Technical Training certification preferred
Bonus points for previous experience with Polyworks or FARO
