Restoration Technician – Mitigation

As a Mitigation Technician at Kustom, you’ll support emergency response and restoration efforts after water, fire, or mold damage. What You Do

Perform water extraction and emergency mitigation services safely and efficiently

Assist with water, fire, and mold mitigation, demolition, and equipment setup

Prepare rooms/areas for work activities including staging and protecting contents

Perform demolition and general cleanup of affected structures

Operate and monitor drying equipment, recording moisture data as needed

Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, equipment, and company vehicle

Complete required documentation and upload job photos/updates into database

Communicate professionally with customers while supporting project leadership

Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses

Follow all jobsite safety standards and hazard identification practices

Adapt and provide support across multiple operations

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED

At least one year of experience in a hands-on, physically demanding role

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, clear communicator, and outstanding customer service skills

Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team

Ability to lift over 50 lbs. frequently

Must be comfortable working on ladders/at heights, in confined and tight areas, as well as perform in extreme heat, humidity, and cold weather

IICRC Certification preferred
