Deployment Technician – Columbus / Newark, OH Area

Hourly Pay Rate: $22+ Full-Time 1–2 Month Contract

We are hiring Deployment Technicians to support a multi-site desktop refresh and data migration project throughout the Columbus and Newark, OH region.

Project Overview

Technicians will assist with a hospital-based deployment that includes preparing new devices, migrating user data, installing equipment, and supporting end users during transition.

This is a hands-on hardware and deskside support role across multiple customer sites.

Position Details

Pay Rate: $22+ per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (morning start time)

Duration: 1–2 months

Locations: Newark, OH + Columbus-area hospitals

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation (multi-site project)

Qualifications

4+ years of IT hardware support, deployment, or deskside experience

Experience with PC setup, data migration, and basic troubleshooting

Strong communication skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions

A+ certification or equivalent experience preferred

Updated resume required

Compliance Requirements

Because this project is performed in a hospital environment, compliance items are required prior to starting.

Peak Systems will schedule and coordinate all required vaccinations during onboarding, so technicians do not need to arrange this on their own.

MMR & Varicella immunizations

Optional (depending on customer requirements):

Flu vaccine (optional)

COVID vaccine (optional)

We will review each technician’s records during onboarding and handle any missing items directly with you.
