Job Description
As a Mill Form Press Operator in our Production department your goal is to successfully set up and operate presses, mills and auto-forming machines to achieve specified formed blade dimensions.
You can expect to:
Work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Gain a basic knowledge of quality assurance, engineering and manufacturing tools, terminology and concepts
You will do this by:
Setting up milling machine to check sheet dimensions
Adjusting and operating forming press to produce parts in accordance with specifications
Setting, aligning and securing dies, set ram stroke, etc.
Following check sheet instructions and documenting measurements of formed blades
Keeping an accurate record of the quantity of blades milled and formed on time cards and check sheet
Replacing milling heads
Maintaining good housekeeping habits and following safety procedures
Programming and/or setting up required sensing, support equipment and instruments for feeders, lubrication, air, part ejection and sensors
Working from drawings and samples
Lifting blades onto work counter and load into stack box

Required Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Experience working as a press operator
Experience driving a forklift
Experience working with manufacturing quality checks and tools using a dial caliper and a height gauge
Experience working from drawings and samples
Knowledge of metal stampings industry
Physical Visual Demands:
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to wear appropriate, required PPE
Work Environment:
Loud (Examples: metal can, manufacturing department, large earth moving equipment)

Shift: : 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday with availability to work overtime Saturday
