Salary: £34,398 - £46,839 (dependent on experience)

Start Date: January 2026

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will have a key role in helping students across Key Stages 3 and 4 develop both confidence and proficiency in mathematics. Your engaging lessons will make maths accessible, enjoyable, and relevant for all learners, fostering an environment where students can excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on student progress and achievement

Differentiate lessons to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities

Create a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages active learning

Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student growth and understanding

Plan effectively to prepare students for GCSE success

Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice with colleagues

Track pupil progress, providing regular updates to parents and senior staff

Participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, and community initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths

Innovative, reflective teaching approach with a focus on student engagement

Excellent communication skills and classroom management techniques
