DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

We’re seeking a Lead Designer (Apparel & Accessories) to own the full lifecycle of story-driven, collector-grade products for DROPZ. If you’re a visionary leader who turns cultural narratives into signature pieces, manages high-velocity teams, and obsesses over every stitch from concept to sell-out, this is your chance to redefine India’s cultural commerce.

As the Lead Designer, you’ll drive end-to-end product strategy, ideation, and execution by leading a team to deliver weekly drops that feel like cultural artifacts. You’ll balance bold creativity with ruthless precision, ensuring every piece is rare, on-brand, and production-ready.

&

• Define and own the product vision for DROPZ, aligning with scarcity, storytelling, and cultural relevance building roadmaps with themed drop cadences and innovation pillars.

• Lead trend immersion across global/local fashion, streetwear, material tech, and Gen Z behaviors to fuel disruptive concepts - benchmarking competitors to forecast sell-out velocity and optimize pricing, volume, and exclusivity.

&

• Host creative calls with creators to extract their essence, and translate into 1 signature piece/week (apparel or accessory) that drops live.

• Ideate 2+ themed drops/month - moodboard, design direction, and storytelling. Distribute briefs, enforce check-ins, and approve tech packs/mockups.

&

• Lead the team with clear task delegation, daily stand-ups, and skill-up mentoring.

• Provide tool access (CLO 3D, Adobe Suite, Gerber) and templates to accelerate tech pack accuracy and 3D prototyping.

• Act as the single source of truth between Business Head, Brand & Marketing, and Operations - ensuring product-market-brand alignment.

• Resolve bottlenecks, upskill juniors, and maintain 100% on-time delivery for weekly drops.

&

• Oversee full-cycle execution: concept sketch tech pack 3D mockup prototype sampling QC production handoff.

• Enforce collector-grade standards - fit, finish, labelling, packaging, and authenticity integration.

• Manage KPIs: 100% weekly drop cadence, 14-day sample turnaround.

&

• Run bi-weekly retros to refine storytelling, design efficiency, and production quality.

• Build a feedback flywheel from community, creators, and data to evolve future drops.

• A product visionary with 3–5+ years leading fashion/apparel product development (startup, agency, or premium brand).

• A cultural translator who turns narratives into physical grails - portfolio must show story-driven, limited-edition wins.

• Proven team leader of 5+ designers/production roles, delivering under weekly/monthly cadences.

• Tech-savvy: Fluent in CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Gerber/Optitex, and Google Drive for tech pack governance.

• Deep in trend forecasting, sustainable materials, creator economy, and streetwear DNA.

• Obsessed with precision - you live in grade rules, BOMs, and factory speak.

• Full ownership of DROPZ’s product engine - weekly drops, monthly capsules, and future in-house IPs.

• Lead a high-talent crew with creative freedom backed by structure and tools.

• Be the architect of cultural artifacts that define a generation, not just products.
