POSITION: Picker/Packer, Warehouse Operations

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full Time

LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio

GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Picker/Packer in our warehouse, you will play a key role in supporting our production and distribution operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include accurately picking and packing orders, receiving and organizing materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and precise shipments.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least one year of experience with supply chain, production floor, or related experience, working with quality control systems, preferably in a GMP/ISO/HACCP environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Fast learner and self-motivated

Ability to type and work on a computer

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.

Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Physical Demands

Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.

Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.

Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard.

Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.

Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:

Accurately picking and packing products according to customer orders and specifications.

Familiarity with use of hand-scanner and WMS to facilitate all pick, pack, and inventory actions.

Inspecting merchandise for quality and accuracy before packing.

Preparing items for shipment, including proper packaging, labeling, and ensuring product safety during transit.

Maintaining accurate inventory records and potentially assisting with inventory counts.

Preparing orders for loading onto trucks for delivery, following safety regulations.

Complying with all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.

Collaborating with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment targets.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Attends and participates in departmental meetings.

Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.

Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.

Follow evidence base standards of medical care through adherence to existing policies and procedures.

Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.

Provides customer focused interactions.

Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
