We’re looking for a Facilities Manager to champion the performance, safety, and sustainability of our Wyong site — a place where millions of meals begin their journey.

If you want to step into a role with real ownership, meaningful impact, and a purpose-led global business behind you, this could be your next move.

About the Role

As our Facilities Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the delivery of all Facilities Management services for Mars Food Australia. You’ll lead essential site operations, maintain critical infrastructure, and ensure our facilities run safely, efficiently, and sustainably every day.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your expertise helps keep our people safe, our operations running smoothly, and our sustainability commitments on track.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll oversee and manage:

Fire Protection Services and site safety systems

Pest Management programs

Facility Maintenance (lawns & gardens, surfaces, signage, structures, pressure vessels and more)

HVAC/Chiller servicing & repairs

Equipment servicing — forklifts, EWP, scissor lifts, lifting equipment

Town water supply and RPZ compliance

Site vehicles, pallet racking and cranes

Leadership of the IMF Facilities Management Contract and renewal of annual site services

Acting as Sodexo SPOC and managing key contractor relationships

Why This Role Matters

At Mars, sustainability is not just a priority — it’s a responsibility. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing global environmental commitments to life at a local level. That means:

Turning global sustainability goals into clear, actionable site initiatives

Partnering with teams across the business to embed sustainable practices

Ensuring our facilities support long-term wellbeing for people and planet

You’ll work closely with operations, safety, engineering, and external partners, influencing how we operate today — and how we protect tomorrow.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

Engineering qualification preferred

Sustainability training or credentials highly valued

Strong technical and analytical skills, with complex problem-solving capability

Experience in stakeholder engagement

Background in trade waste operations

Minimum 5 years contractor management experience

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

Enjoy variety and problem-solving

Communicate clearly and build strong relationships

Care deeply about safety, quality, and sustainability

Take ownership and lead with a continuous improvement mindset
