Role Summary
Due to strategic growth and the expansion of their project portfolio, Our Client is seeking a skilled ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) Engineer specialising in ASL (Allow Support Level) and EDS (Engineering Data Specification). This vital role supports their ambition to optimise logistics support and technical publication processes for complex defence systems. Responsibilities
Lead and perform ASL studies to determine optimal support strategies
Develop and refine maintenance plans, including preliminary and detailed analyses
Manage all data associated with ASL activities, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Define, produce, and validate technical publications such as manuals, illustrations, and service bulletins
Oversee the production and quality control of training materials and maintenance documentation
Validate technical content against standards, ensuring compliance and readability
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of technical data with project requirements
Specify and monitor development of specialised maintenance tools
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation standards
Essential Skills & Experience
Degree in electromechanics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
Proven experience in system logistics support within a defence or high-technology environment
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as Spanish or Dutch are advantageous
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
Versatility to adapt across multiple tasks and project phases
Familiarity with standards such as S1000D, S2200M, and S3000L is preferred
Experience with illustration tools like IsoDraw or Creo Illustrate is desirable
Knowledge of internal tools such as PdM, Creo View, and SharePoint is a plus
Desirable Skills & Experience
Knowledge of structured documentation platforms like Arbortext
Experience in writing and managing technical data in accordance with industry standards
Basic understanding of system products used in defence or aerospace sectors
Multilingual abilities, particularly in passive understanding of Spanish or Dutch, to support multi-national projects
