DevOps Manager (Azure)

Azure DevOps Engineer / Lead – 12-Month Contract – Dutch Speaking

€550 per day Antwerp + Hybrid Insurance Client

We're seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer / Lead (Dutch-speaking) to support a large transformation programme for a major insurance client. Dutch fluency is essential, as you will work closely with on-site stakeholders and technical teams.

Contract: 12 months (extendable)

Rate: €550 per day

Location: Remote with up to 2 days per week on-site in Antwerp

Team: Delivery team led by an on-site technical manager

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to core DevOps engineering and automation initiatives

Work directly with customer stakeholders to guide technical decisions

Build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps

Design CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and automation workflows

Ensure reliability, security, and consistency across cloud environments

Collaborate with infrastructure teams and architects to maintain delivery quality

Required Experience

Dutch fluency (mandatory)

6+ years in DevOps / cloud engineering roles

Strong, hands-on expertise in Azure, Azure DevOps, and Terraform (production experience required)

Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Proven experience designing automation solutions — not just operating existing pipelines

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)

Experience with IaC, CI/CD best practices, tool integrations, and security tooling

Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and governance

Insurance industry experience is a plus
