ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Bilingual React Developer (Spanish) to play a key role in delivering a major enhancement to their member portal. This contract, hybrid position based in Birmingham, AL, focuses on front-end development with an emphasis on improving search functionality and ensuring Spanish language accessibility for users. You will work closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to create a modern, intuitive, and accessible user experience. The role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact project within a collaborative, innovative team environment, with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and optimize React components for enhanced search and portal features
Implement Spanish language support and ensure accessibility across all UI elements
Integrate front-end applications with secure APIs and backend services
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
Ensure application performance, scalability, and compliance with coding standards
Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English within a hybrid work environment
WHAT YOU BRING
Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
Experience with API integration and security best practices
Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility
3+ years in front-end development; exposure to Java/Spring Boot is a plus
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a hybrid environment
