Job Description

Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company quality standards.

Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaborate with suppliers to improve processes and resolve quality issues.

Analyze and report supplier quality metrics to management.

Support new product development by working closely with suppliers to meet quality requirements.

Maintain and update supplier quality documentation and records.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to address quality concerns.

Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards within supplier processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

Bachelors degree required, engineering or related discipline strongly preferred

3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing

Strong understanding of ISO9001 and associated audits

Extensive experience with RCA, CAPA, 8D, etc

PPAP/APQP experience

Ability to interpret blueprints and customer specification documents

Experience working with suppliers
