Position Summary: Northridge High School is seeking a compassionate and reliable Paraprofessional (Educational Aide) to support classroom teachers and assist students with instructional, social, and behavioral needs.
The paraprofessional will work closely with educators to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities.
* Provide individualized or small-group support to students as directed.
* Help maintain classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere.
* Support students with special needs, including academic and behavioral interventions.
* Assist with supervision during lunch, recess, and other school activities as assigned.
* Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student success.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal or teacher.
Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
* Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
