This role focuses on delivering scalable public health informatics solutions that enable validated data capture, transformation, and performance monitoring across DPRP-participating organizations.

The ideal candidate will combine database programming skills with expertise in information architecture, data reporting, and system implementation. Create and refine logical and physical database schemas to meet evolving performance and management needs.

Lead programming tasks using technologies including Db, SharePoint, .Net, C#, and VB to deliver robust, integrated system solutions.

Data Processing & ETL Support

Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to support DPRP session data ingestion from a wide range of sources.

Ensure ETL pipelines are adaptable for use by both high-tech and low-tech organizations submitting validated program data.

Collaborate with program teams to document and implement data storage procedures, ensuring alignment with DPRP business rules and validation checks.

Data Extraction & Reporting

Work closely with the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) team to build data extraction mechanisms for both standardized and ad-hoc reports.

Provide technical support in responding to internal and external data requests with timely, accurate reporting solutions.

Cross-Team Coordination & IT Strategy

Consult with DPRP leadership and stakeholders to design IT solutions that address database logic, schema enhancements, and data structure improvements.

Develop communication and coordination products to support transparency across functional teams and ensure program alignment.

Provide technical insight on DPRP IT architecture during internal planning and stakeholder meetings.

Thought Leadership & Representation

Present technical approaches, system designs, and evaluation findings at national, regional, or local conferences focused on public health informatics or chronic disease prevention.
