Morning starts with setting up your CNC machines and verifying tooling and offsets. As jobs run, you’ll keep a close eye on quality and throughput, making fine adjustments as needed. You’ll inspect parts with precision instruments, keep your work cell organized, collaborate with teammates to improve processes, and perform routine maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.What you’ll do
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines to meet exact specifications and tolerances.
Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders into accurate machining steps.
Monitor cycle performance, making in-process changes to maintain quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
Partner with peers to streamline production and enhance throughput.
Keep a clean, well-organized, and safe work area.What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent; a machining-related technical certificate or degree is a plus.
Demonstrated success as a CNC machinist or in a closely related machining role.
Fluency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical documentation, and work instructions.
Strong grasp of CNC programming concepts and machining processes.
Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Comfort working independently as well as within a team setting.
Sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
10+ years of CNC machining experience strongly preferred.
