Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care and patient education within the scope of practice. The RN is responsible for assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, performing special procedures, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety while delivering quality, compassionate care.Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments.
Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose checks, and specimen collection.
Assist physicians with procedures and treatments.
Provide patient and family education on a consistent basis.
Respond promptly to patient call lights and complete routine patient rounds.
Accurately document all patient care in the medical record.
Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, fall prevention, restraints, and infection control.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.Education & Certification Requirements
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Mississippi.
Minimum of one (1) year Registered Nurse experience required.
Current CPR and ACLS certifications required.Skills & Competencies

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
