Machinist / Mill / Saw Operator

Location: Detroit Pay: Based on Experience

Our client-a manufacturer serving Aerospace, Steel, Automation, and Scrap industries-is looking for a skilled Machinist, Mill, or Saw Operator. If you've got a strong work ethic, mechanical know-how, and the drive to grow, this is a place where you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Do:

Read blueprints, process sheets, and work orders

Load and unload parts using cranes, magnets, or fixtures

Run proven programs on Floor Mills, Bridge Mills, Planer Mills, and Saws

Perform in-process inspections and document your results

Keep your machine and work area clean and organized

Move completed parts and paperwork through the shop

What They're Looking For:

5-10 years of machining experience

Strong mechanical and math skills

Experience with setups, offsets, and running a variety of mills and saws

Solid inspection skills (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Reliable attendance and a great attitude

A desire to learn, improve, and take on new challenges
