Color Lab Technician
Job Description
As a Color Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing color samples for evaluation and formulation. You will support the Refinish Color Matching team in our Delaware, Ohio Plant by conducting essential tasks such as mixing wet paint, spraying paint samples, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lab areas.
Responsibilities
Mix and spray paint samples to meet production demands.
Acquire color formulations from the Color Matcher and prepare sample mixtures based on provided paint formulations and recipes.
Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples.
Acquire wet paint samples from mixing stations and spray samples according to predefined specifications.
Maintain laboratory equipment in clean condition.
Essential Skills
Experience in lab technology, chemistry, biology, and wet chemistry.
Proficiency in working with paint and pigments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred.
Non-degreed candidates with steady work history and good tenure in fast-paced, on-your-feet environments are also considered.
Work Environment
This position operates on a second shift schedule, from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday. Personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, will be provided. Contractors must be clean-shaven on the first day for respirator fitting.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
