Key Responsibilities
Manage and review tax returns for automotive dealerships, including complex pass-through entities (partnerships, S-corporations)
Oversee client relationships and serve as trusted tax advisor on dealership tax planning and compliance matters
Conduct research on technical tax issues specific to automotive operations, inventory management, and dealership structures
Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance to develop and motivate the engagement team
Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive client service across dealership operations
Represent the firm and build relationships through industry events and professional organizations
Qualifications
Active CPA license required (or J.D., LL.M., or Masters in Taxation)
Minimum 5 years public accounting tax experience required
Experience with automotive/dealership clients OR significant pass-through entity experience with willingness to learn the automotive industry
Strong understanding of partnership and S-corporation taxation
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, engagement economics, and client relationships
Excellent technical tax skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills
Ability to develop business and foster long-term client relationships
