SAP SD Functional Consultant

We are seeking a hands-on SAP SD (OTC) Functional Consultant to lead and deliver system enhancement requests (SAP development/change requests) across Sales & Distribution, Pricing, and integrations.

The ideal candidate is an expert in S/4HANA SD configuration and pricing, with strong EDI/IDoc experience, ABAP debugging familiarity, and proven ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions.

MM/PTP or CRM or Vistex (pricing, rebates, chargebacks) experience are strong pluses (Vistex preferred Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Configuration Lead the planning, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, training, and implementation of SD (OTC) enhancements and WRICEF objects.

Configure complex SD/OTC scenarios using standard SAP, including sales document flow, pricing, variant configuration, and automotive processes (scheduling agreements with release orders, JIT, EDI, BOP/Backorder Processing Own pricing setup: condition techniques, access sequences, calculation schemas, pricing routines, discounts/surcharges, taxes, rebates.

Document functional specifications and test scripts; create proof-of-concept business processes and configuration documentation.

EDI/IDoc & Interfaces Design and support EDI/IDoc integrations for SO, PO, OBD, Invoice, ASN, Vendor Master, Outbound/Inbound Deliveries, PGI/PGR, Goods Movements.

Set up and manage partner types/profiles, message types, process codes, ports, and ALE/RFC distribution.

Monitor, reprocess, and manually post IDocs; troubleshoot middleware and mapping issues; drive IDoc enhancements end-to-end.

Interface exposure: EDI, cXML, PI/PO, BADI, BAPI, RFC, APIGEE/GCP, SFDC/CRM, and IBM WebSphere (plus Work across EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 810, 832, 844, 856, 867, 940, 945 Run Support, Incident & Change Management Provide day-to-day OTC application support: resolve incidents, defects, and change requests.

Execute and improve change & release management processes; ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Testing, Tools & Governance Prepare and execute unit/SIT/UAT using tools: Worksoft, ALM, ValGenesis, ServiceNow, SharePoint.

Coordinate and conduct testing with business users; train super users; maintain high-quality documentation (FS/DS/TS Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership Facilitate blueprinting and requirements workshops with Business Process Owners and Key Users.

Translate requirements into standard-aligned SAP solutions; highlight trade-offs and technical feasibility.

Provide status updates to leadership; coordinate offshore teams and mentor team members.

Work in Agile delivery models; collaborate across SD/MM/FI/PP, integration, and middleware teams.

- Must-Have Qualifications SAP S/4HANA SD expertise (required) with clear hands-on OTC process experience and pricing.

Strong SD configuration knowledge and complex scenario design using standard SAP.

EDI/IDoc proficiency: partner profiles, message types, inbound/outbound parameters, monitoring, reprocessing, manual posting, process codes, ports, ALE/RFC.

Working knowledge of SD pricing tables, user exits, function modules, enhancement points; ability to write Functional Specs for complex WRICEF developments.

ABAP debugging literacy (able to understand syntax and perform basic debugging Experience delivering in S/4HANA environments; broad technical appreciation of key SAP functionality/technology.

At least 1 end-to-end ECC SD (6.0) implementation as Lead SD Consultant and 1 rollout/support project as SD Lead.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.

- Good-to-Have / Preferred Vistex (pricing, rebates, chargebacks, agreements) functional support and solution architecture (preferred CRM or MM/PTP and PP experience; understanding of OTCFI integration.

Strong knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, enhancement frameworks; outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces to/from middleware, flat files.

IBM WebSphere middleware experience (plus SAP S/4 Sales certification (preferred Experience with systems integration to non-SAP platforms (EDI, APIGEE/GCP, SFDC/CRM, PI/PO Exposure to Core Interface (CIF) and cXML.
