Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $70K-$110K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Transportation, Roadway design and Bridge Design. The ideal candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of various transportation projects, ensuring safety, functionality, and sustainability in urban environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop transportation and roadway design plans using MicroStation and other software tools.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct traffic studies and analyze transportation systems for efficiency and safety.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
Participate in municipal construction projects, providing engineering expertise and support.
Evaluate and improve existing roadway designs, proposing enhancements for better traffic flow.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in MicroStation and knowledge of transportation engineering principles.
Experience in bridge design would be preferred
Experience with roadway design software such as Geopak, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is a plus.
Design, calculation, and plan preparation from concept design through bid drawings with opportunities for construction administration
Strong understanding of urban planning and street design principles, including intersections and roundabouts.
Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in transportation engineering projects.
