Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Port Huron, MI 48060 (Michigan nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting: Medical Surgical Acute Unit

Assignment Type: Travel RN job

Start Date: October 22, 2025

End Date: January 13, 2026

Contract Duration: 12 weeks

Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1260-$1350

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification

At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing

Current BLS certification

Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Completion of onboarding health screenings: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement

Successful completion of RN competency exams and skills checklists

Professional nursing references and updated resume

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical Acute unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR

Educate patients and families about health conditions, discharge planning, and post-hospital care

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
