Cape Fear Valley Health, a leading and rapidly growing regional health system in North Carolina, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Intensivist to join our expanding critical care division. This is a premier opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, mixed medical surgical ICU within one of the state s largest and busiest health systems.
Position Highlights
One week on / one week off (7-on / 7-off) schedule with shared night responsibilities
Serve as an attending intensivist in our modern, evidence-based, multidisciplinary ICU caring for complex medical and surgical patients
Work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced intensivists, APPs, surgical and medical subspecialists
Significant teaching opportunities with medical students, internal medicine residents, pulmonary/critical care fellows, and critical care fellows

Qualifications
MD/DO from an accredited medical school
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Critical Care Medicine or Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Strong interest in academic medicine, teaching, and advancing a high-acuity ICU
A collaborative, team-focused mindset and a desire to help lead a modern, growing critical care program
