Maine Medical Center Professional - Nonclinical Req #: 54255 Summary: This role is specific to a secondary school setting within southern Maine.
Under general supervision by clinical leadership, the Athletic Trainer role provides direct patient care to include athletic training related services and athletic development when appropriate.
Responsibilities include areas related to athletic training, concussion management, community outreach, and development of future related programs.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) * Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required (graduation from CAATE accredited program). Master's degree preferred.
* License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Athletic Trainer required or in compliance with the state practice act.
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
* Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.
