Job Summary: Service Technician Location: Cincinatti, OH, Dayton OH, or Lexington, KY (must live near one of these areas) This position is part of the Service Department team and is responsible for providing service work to customer's aquatics systems.

Essential Functions: * Attend continuing educational classes, workshops and seminars * Inspect and maintains chemical feed systems * Install, maintenance and/or repair of mechanical equipment; Including, but not limited to, filters, pumps, chlorinators, chemical feed pumps, ultraviolet systems, pool heaters, and other related swimming pool systems * Responsible for winterization of swimming pool equipment * Performs calculations to determine and perform necessary steps to maintain proper water chemistry * Startup and commissioning of all pool equipment * General knowledge of plumbing and electrical * Works with skilled plumbers, electricians and other trades where some knowledge of the operations and methods involved may be necessary * Ability to understand volt meters and various other testing equipment * Provide daily, weekend and evening on call troubleshooting and direction as needed * Communicates with Scheduling person for service related issues * Knowledge of proper handling and care of pool chemicals * Performs training on pool equipment for all Facility Staff * Organizational skills * Provide oral and written instructions for pool equipment; including daily operations, backwash procedures, etc.

* Communicate effectively and concisely with customers and co-workers * General cleanup of mechanical rooms * Pipe labelling and valve tags * Provide service and repair records * General o May work in the Construction and other departments as needed o Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas o Keeps himself/herself groomed and clothed as per dealership guidelines o As with all other employees, you will be expected to be a team player o Follows attendance policy * All other duties assigned Skills & Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * 3-5 years of related work experience is preferred but not mandatory * Strong mechanical aptitude * Must obtain a CPO Certification * Valid Driver's License with clear driving record * Understand the need for confidentiality and discretion; position may be exposed to sensitive information * Excellent phone etiquette, communication and organizational skills * Punctual and able to work with minimal supervision * Customer service driven * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to learn quickly, resolve issues, and meet deadlines * Motivated self-starter and team player with excellent attention to detail Competencies: * Specific o Abilities, Knowledge, Skills: The degree to which the employee exhibits the knowledge and skills required to fulfill job duties, as well as the techniques and tools used to do so.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.

Days and hours of work business hours plus strong likelihood of overtime.

Summer months are particularly busy.

Covering Southern Indiana into Easter Ohio.

Language Skills Ability to read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Mathematical Skills Basic math skills are required, along with the ability to use a calculator.

Reasoning Ability It is necessary in this position to have the ability to set priorities.

Must be able to make sound decisions using good judgment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job.

This position requires the ability work on pools for extended periods.

There is the need for constant bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting boxes up to 100 lbs.

General upkeep is required of the personal workspace and vehicle.

Work Environment The typical work environment is a pool, or construction area, and will include exposure to hazardous chemicals.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting at a minimum of 75 lbs., carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.

Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 30% driving and 10% standing.

Some exposure to a warehouse environment is likely.
