The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining operational and analytical capabilities for the FundsNetwork Product.
This role involves solution design, data analysis, production rollout, and production support activities using Python, AWS, Snowflake, and Oracle.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and SQL development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data solutions using Python, AWS, Snowflake, and Oracle.
Perform data analysis and modeling, including Dimensional and Data Vault techniques.
Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries for performance improvement.
Implement Unix scripting and scheduling tools for automation.
Work with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, for data storage and processing.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Concourse, and Artifactory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency and automation.
Implement DevOps and Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) in the development process.
Troubleshoot and support production systems to ensure seamless operation. Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering.
2+ years of Python development experience.
Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
Proficiency in Unix scripting and scheduling tools.
Experience in data modeling techniques.
Proven ability to analyze and optimize data queries. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Snowflake databases.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization.
Experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across multiple teams.
