The Nursing Float Pool is the department for CNA's that are seeking a challenge and would like exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels.
The CNA joining the Float Pool is looking to gain or build upon a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge base.
Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit; which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): * Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
* License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
