Introduction
We are seeking experienced professionals to provide expert-level support and leadership in enterprise backup and recovery operations. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless global operations as we transition from outsourced services to an internal model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise backup/storage engineering
Advanced knowledge of backup solutions, SAN/NAS, and storage architecture
Strong background in Unix/Linux and Windows troubleshooting
Experience with global IT operations and 24/7 enterprise environments
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, project migrations, and contract-to-hire transitions
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers
Knowledge of insourcing transition projects, including documentation and knowledge transfer
Experience supporting global backup strategy across multiple regions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead troubleshooting for complex backup/storage failures impacting global operations
Provide deep technical expertise in backup infrastructure and related technologies
Collaborate with Unix/Linux, Windows, and network teams to resolve multi-layered incidents
Contribute to the insourcing transition project, including documentation and contingency planning
Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 engineers to strengthen the team’s capabilities
Support global backup strategy across U.S., Canada, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions
