ServiceNow Platform Developer

Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer Location: Canada (Ottawa preferred – Hybrid) Experience: 7+ Years ServiceNow Development Senior ServiceNow Developer to support enterprise IT initiatives and This role requires deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, platform development, integrations, and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITSM platform solutions.

Engage with business stakeholders to gather and review requirements (user stories, use cases, workflows). Assess suitability of ServiceNow modules and components for business needs.

Create architectural concepts, rapid prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.

Develop and configure new modules, applications, enhancements, and integrations with third-party tools.

Build ATF tests, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

Deliver sprint-based features including design, development, testing, and demos.

Prepare technical documentation and follow ServiceNow best practices for scalable platform growth.

Mandatory Qualifications ~ Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.

~7+ years of recent ServiceNow platform development experience.

Additional Skills Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.

Hands-on experience with ATF, Dashboards, Reporting.

Expertise in JavaScript, Java, HTML.

Experience in integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and 3rd-party systems.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum.

Platform migrations/implementations experience.

Preferred / Assets Located in Ottawa (Hybrid). Bilingual English/French.

Public sector experience.

ServiceNow Certifications: CIS, CAD, CSA.
