LHH is working with a construction company that is searching for a temporary to hire Payroll Specialist for their team. This individual will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for around 500 employees. You will be trained on the software system, but they do plan on changing platforms so they need someone who is tech savvy and comfortable learning quickly. You will work on a team and will be given opportunities to grow. The manager is looking for someone with at least two years of previous payroll processing experience. This position is fully in office in Bothell, WA. Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll for union field and non-union office/warehouse staff, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

Prepare and submit monthly reports for union compliance.

Manage the weekly certified payroll reporting to meet company standards.

Generate various statistical payroll reports as needed.

Update payroll records promptly, including correct union rates.

Maintain accurate records and reports of all payroll transactions.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices.

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and records. Qualifications:

At least two years of payroll processing experience.

Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Employment Details:

Temporary to hire

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Fully onsite in Bothell, WA Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
