Job Details
Our firm is seeking an dynamic, motivated, and experienced Associate Litigation Attorney to join our team of dedicated legal professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership, learning, and career growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing all aspects of litigation processes.
2. Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
4. Conducting depositions of parties and experts.
5. Managing discovery, including taking/presenting witnesses for deposition.
6. Working collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
7. Developing relationships with clients and working to understand their unique needs and goals.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Alabama (AL) and in good standing.
3. litigation experience, with a strong background in depositions and discovery.
4. Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts and strategies clearly and persuasively.
6. Ability to work independently, manage large caseloads, and keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner.
7. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
