Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Columbus, OH for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing scientific instruments and equipment. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, calibrating equipment, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring optimal performance of the instruments. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate service records and collaborating with the internal team to enhance service processes.

Qualifications

Strong technical skills in equipment installation, maintenance, and calibration

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues

Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members

Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to service protocols

Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction

Related certifications or technical training is highly desirable

Previous experience in scientific equipment maintenance and repair is a plus
