Job Description

Job Title: Production Analyst

Location-Type: Hybrid (2 days in-office, Baltimore, MD)

Start Date Is: ASAP

Duration: 6-month contract (extendable in 6-month increments, up to 2 years)

Compensation Range: $40/hr – $50/hr

Job Description:

Support production applications by triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues while ensuring system stability and proactive monitoring.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Work on 10-15 tickets daily via ServiceNow

Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues

Monitor production applications proactively (Splunk alerts, Grafana)

Identify and implement automation opportunities

Create and maintain knowledge-based documentation

Work cross-functionally to address incidents

Participate in an on-call rotation (once every 6-7 weeks, including weekends and holidays)

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

5 years of core Production Support experience

ServiceNow (ticketing system)

AutoSys

Splunk alerts and Grafana

Unix (day-to-day commands, file issues)

SQL (writing queries, editing data)

Automation experience

Ability to work on-call rotation and flexible shifts (including weekends)

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

Personal laptop/desktop required

Must disclose stock trading activities to comply with insider trading regulations

Nice-to-Haves:

Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred, but open to Python, Bash, Java, or JavaScript)

AWS experience

Hybrid remote
