Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, cooking appliances, and dish machines. You’ll play a key part in ensuring clients’ operations run smoothly by delivering high-quality service, building strong customer relationships, and promoting preventative maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment, including, but not limited to, refrigeration equipment, cooking equipment, beverage equipment, and dish machines

Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.

Minimum qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

3+ years of commercial equipment repair experience -- refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, military service. (must have experience with at least hot or cold equipment)

Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (2 yrs) / driving up to 1.5 hours for a job

Willingness/ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends

Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (ie, EPA, CFESA)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below the waist

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up to 25 feet. Occasional lifting and carrying, with or without assistance, of items up to 70 pounds

Full-time
