Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to apply advanced CT imaging skills in a high-volume healthcare setting equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The role involves managing complex diagnostic imaging procedures using cutting-edge CT scanners, including GE Revolution EVO, Siemens SOMATOM Force, and others. The successful candidate will have experience working in a facility larger than a critical access hospital and be comfortable with multi-phase imaging and gated cardiac studies, as well as supporting interventional radiology procedures by managing the scanner during biopsies, abscess drainages, and ablations.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans covering a broad range of patient diagnoses including cardiac, trauma, abdominal, pediatric, and geriatric cases.
Operate and manage advanced CT equipment such as GE Revolution EVO 64-slice and Siemens dual-source scanners.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, unit managers, and the clinical team to deliver accurate imaging results.
Support interventional radiology by managing CT scanners during biopsies and other procedures.
Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Participate in a rotating schedule that includes variable day shifts and every-other-weekend coverage.
Complete 3-4 days of precepted orientation shifts before starting independent work.
Utilize EMR systems (Meditech) and Pyxis medication dispensing technology as part of daily duties.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum two years of CT imaging experience in a medium to large healthcare facility.
Current BLS and ARRT-CT certifications.
State licensure in good standing.
Recent experience (within past year) on one or more advanced CT scanners: GE Revolution EVO, Siemens SOMATOM Force, Siemens SOMATOM Drive, LightSpeed 64, or similar.
Proficiency with multi-phase organ-specific imaging and gated cardiac imaging.
Comfort managing scanner during interventional radiology procedures.
Schedule & Location:
12-hour variable day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
Weekend shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every other Saturday and Sunday.
No call responsibilities.
Park in designated employee parking area.
