Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave of absence at an early childhood preschool specializing in special needs and pre-model students. This role, based in Grove City, OH, provides valuable experience working with a diverse pediatric population in a supportive educational environment.
Key qualifications and skills:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
Experience working in early childhood or pediatric settings preferred
Background in school-based speech-language pathology, including knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school therapy protocols
Capacity to work effectively with children who have special needs and developmental delays
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators and families

Duration: Leave of Absence Cover, January 7 March 7
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM, covering both AM and PM preschool classes
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children with special needs and developmental challenges
Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and implement individualized interventions
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies
