Total Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 (Base: $80,000 - $90,000)

Bons: ~30%

Work Environment: Onsite (5 Days in Office; Limited Flexibility)

Location: Wheaton, IL

Reports to: VP of Tax Technology

Software Developer

Responsibilities:

Work within a development team embedded in a Tax Accountant Group

Design, maintain, and test business process automation systems

Implement software design specs within object-oriented coding (Delphi)

Formalize technical design spec documentation for application and relational databases

Lead projects from start to finish while interacting with clients and business users

Work with SQL to source and transfer data for various business users and projects

Edit content on displayed company interface within a WYSIWYG environment

Implement high quality product features through proper planning and accurate resource estimates.

Maintain existing functionality, propose upgrades, and meet project requirements

Investigate and fix software defects in a timely manner

Work with GUI development tools creating custom interfaces for various clients

Interface with support and customers to resolve issues in timely manner

Contribute and adhere to Product Release timelines and goals

Manage your own schedule to complete projects on time

Software Developer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

5+ Years of professional experience in software development

Specific experience within relational database-oriented n-tier application development

Web stack development experience desired

Experienced and knowledgeable of GUI development tools and a WISYWYG environment.

Proven track record in enterprise application development

Familiarity with modern coding styles, design patterns, and development methodologies within the Delphi and Microsoft development stacks.

Ability to lead and manage projects from start to finish while having strong time management.
